There are so many moms that can benefit from the wisdom of
love-centered parenting no matter what stage of parenting you are
in.
Today's guest, Crystal Paine, talks about how to shift your
parenting from a results-based approach to a love based approach (
and nope, not the woo-woo kind) The approach where you parent from
a place of peace, rest, joy, and from the place where you really
love your kids.
The shift starts when you focus on filling your heart with the
truth of God’s love for you. Because when you are focused on being
filled with that kind of love, that is the kind of love that spills
out.
The kind of love we are talking about today is a love that doesn't
look to other people for approval or makes sure that you checked
off your “to-do” list and parent perfectly. No! It’s the kind of
love that says that you matter, your mistakes don’t matter and
you're loved by God no matter what.
You’re worth is not from other people or how well you perform. You
walk around with so much mom guilt, stress, and anxiety because you
are trying to find your worth and identity in something that will
never satisfy you. It’s as if you're looking to say “I have
arrived”. You need to go back to what God thinks of you… and that
is >>> you are fully loved by God and when you truly
believe that, you are able to have so much freedom and joy.
